Whats Up, PHlock? Summers departing and in the words of the Little River Band, its time for a
Cool Change.

Three club members attended the 4

Annual Buzz Blast sponsored by the Atlanta Parrot
Head Club and The Atlanta Trop Rock Alliance. A PHintastic time was had by all. Great PHood,
Great PHun, and Great PHriends. Music was provided by Livin Coastal from Smyrna, GA, Jeff &
The Camaros from Panama City Beach, and the headliner was Sunny Jim White from Sarasota, FL.

found several of us at the AMP in Carrollton swayin and playin in the musical
gumbo provided by A1A, The Original and Official Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band. To promote the club,
we handed out complimentary leis to the first 200 guests.

The club sponsored a very successful yard sale to raise $$$ for our operations bank
account. PHinz Up to Inho Abdich, Carrie and Robbie Porter and Shanghai Bev Nelson for their hard
work.

Several of us will participate in the Alzheimers Walk on October 11
th
, 3:00 p.m. at Hobbs
Farm in Carrollton, GA. I appreciate everyone who will participate and donate to the fight to end this
devastating disease.

Our October (Halloween) Social PHlocking will be at the Lazy Donkey Mexican Grill and
Cantina in Carrollton on Wednesday, October 22

, 6:30 p.m. Costumes are optional.

Our collections for the Carroll Soup Kitchen and Second Chance Animal Rescue have been
quite successful. PHinz Up to all our Krewe members who support this effort.

Welcome aboard to our newest Krewe Member, Debra Cook.
