The Presidents Perspective
The meeting at Natural Tunnel was very enjoyable with a wonderful
guided tour of the tunnel and surrounding park. The meal was delicious
as well. I am sorry that the date change caused conflicts for so many of
you. We will remember that in our planning for next year.
Our sympathy goes to Mary Sue Smith on the death of her mother, Mary
Maiden.
The 80th Birthday of IOTA State is November 29. To celebrate, we are
collecting 80 items for the Childrens Advocacy Center Program for
Teenage Girls. Suggested items are: Small boxes that can be decorated,
small journals, pens, gel pens, thin line markers, costume jewelry,
compact mirrors, lip gloss, fragrance, or anything else that will help a
teenage girl to feel good about herself. Our chapter is also asked to
contribute a 12x12 scrapbook page showing Then and Now to
commemorate IOTAs birthday. Let me know if you are interested in
helping with this.
