SIDELINES Two rowing events added to Sports Festival in Sea Isle City A RECORD TURNOUT Of oarsmerVwomen and fans at Lar- sen's Marina in Sea Isle City made the second annual Sports Festival a memorable success, with representatives of every beach patrol competing in thd quartet offour-oared events, two of which were niaking their for- mal bows. The newly named "Murph Levy Trophy" test, a memorial to the late retired assistant chiefofthe Atlantic City Beach Patrol, was a ruggetl five-mile eontest, won by ACBP2s Buteh Joseph and Fred Burwell.' The three-mile "OId Malarkey" rBC; honoring a retired Press sports editor, was annexed by 'Ventnor's Scott James and Jim Mason. The "Dr. John Holland" oite- miler tributing this area's "fa- ther of rowing," was won by an- other Alantic CW duo of Allen Moss and Kim Fioriglio. The glamour event of the day, however, was the mixed doubles (each erew eomprised ofan oars- man and wife or girl friend) was handily won by Bill and Denise Baldwin.
