Metric Measurement

System
By:Adhira
Introduction
The Metric System is used everywhere else except the
U.S.A . It uses Weight, Capacity, Mass, length.
It seems hard but once you look into it its not that bad. So
it does not hurt to take a look so come on!

Conversions
1 kilometer=1,000 meters
1meter=100 centimeters
1 kilogram=1,000 grams
1 liter=1,000 milliliter

Mass

You use mass for measuring kilograms and grams.

Say you need to convert kilograms to grams you just need to remember
that 1kilogram=1,000 grams if you remember that mass will be a breeze
for you!
A Test of what you know
about mass
Q. 5 kilograms= ? grams

Q. 60 kilograms= ? grams
Q. 700 kilograms= ? grams
Now you have mastered
Mass you can do this!
Length
In length you measure with kilometers & meters. The most important thing
you need to know is that 1 kilometer= 1,000 meters. You use it to measure
how long things are! But I do not recommend you use it to measure small
things.
A Test To See What You Know
About Length
Q.5 kilometers= ? Meters
Q.60 kilometers= ? Meters
Q.700 kilometers= ? Meters
Now you know it is simple as that!

Liquid Capacity
You use liquid capacity by measuring liters & milliliters. What you need to
know is that 1 liter=1,000 milliliters. It is not THAT bad!
A Test To See What You Know
About Liquid Capacity
2 liters= ? Milliliters
50 liters= ? Milliliters
900 liters= ? Milliliters
Now you know seems fun?
