Abstract
Design of Embedded System for Signal
Indication widely gives the knowledge of
signals to the loco pilot. This ensures the
safety of the passenger. And improvising the
driving environment for the loco pilot in train.
Existing System
At present manual identification of signals is
done by the loco pilot.
Problem Definition
Misunderstanding of signals may lead to
drastic accident.
Distance between the signal poles varies with
a range of 100 m to 1000 m
Difficulty in identification of signals at night
time.
Chances for human error

Alternate Solution
Transmission of Signal from
Signal pole.
Proper indication of signals

Reception of signals
Embedded System for
indicating the Signals
Managing the train for
the worse case
