Properties of a Circle
Class: Geometry
Standard: CCSS.Math.Content.HSG.C.A.2 : Identify and describe relationships among
inscribed angles, radii, and chords.
Objective: The student will demonstrate a knowledge relationship to the basic properties of
circles.
Access will consist of a short presentation on the properties of circles of which I am
expecting them to demonstrate knowledge.
Engagement will continue in small groups such that students of similar learning styles but
different content abilities will be able to relate to the material together.
Assessment: Students are given direction to prove to me that they understand the
properties of circles. Guidelines are described below; students are free to combine
categories or design something original.
