PHASE 2: THE STORY OF OUR FRIENDSHIP.

The story of our friendship.

In this forum, you and your pen pals will pretend you have been friends for 6 months. So, the
website "3 pen pals in funny letters" has proposed you a challenge where your group has to write
a letter under the title "the experience of our friendship". The winners will earn a valuable prize:
three tickets to visit England, and the chance to practice English there.

- FASE 2: LA HISTORIA DE NUESTRA AMISTAD.

La historia de nuestra amistad.

En este foro, usted y sus amigos por correspondencia fingirán que son amigos durante 6
meses. Así, la web "3 amigos por correspondencia en letras divertidas" te ha propuesto un
desafío en el que tu grupo tiene que escribir una carta bajo el título "La experiencia de
nuestra amistad". Los ganadores obtendrán un valioso premio: tres entradas para visitar
Inglaterra y la oportunidad de practicar inglés allí.

Entry 1: During the first week of the phase 2, write an introductory paragraph introducing each
one of the partners of the group (names and nationalities), some facts about your hometowns and
describe the reasons why being a pen pal is a good experience.

Entry 2: During the second week of the phase 2, write a paragraph naming some tips to keep in
touch with a pen pal, some of the activities done to practice English and how your English has
been improving.

Entry 3: Remember the website "3 pen pals in funny letters" has proposed you a challenge where
your group has to write a letter under the title "the experience of our friendship". The winners
will earn a valuable prize: three tickets to visit England, and the chance to practice English there.
So, it is important to learn relevant facts about this country. For that reason, during the third
week of the phase 2, you must answer the following questions:

1- What have you researched about England and its most relevant facts?  

2- What are the most significant “faux pas” (cultural rules and traditions) in England?

3- What should you know before traveling to England? 

4- What places will you visit in England if you win the challenge?
Entrada 1: Durante la primera semana de la fase 2, escribe un párrafo introductorio presentando a
cada uno de los socios del grupo (nombres y nacionalidades), algunos datos sobre tus lugares de
origen y describe las razones por las que ser amigo por correspondencia es una buena
experiencia.

Entrada 2: Durante la segunda semana de la fase 2, escribe un párrafo nombrando algunos

consejos para mantenerte en contacto con un amigo por correspondencia, algunas de las
actividades realizadas para practicar inglés y cómo tu inglés ha ido mejorando.

Entrada 3: Recuerda que la web "3 amigos por correspondencia en letras divertidas" te ha
propuesto un desafío donde tu grupo tiene que escribir una carta bajo el título "La experiencia de
nuestra amistad". Los ganadores obtendrán un valioso premio: tres entradas para visitar
Inglaterra y la oportunidad de practicar inglés allí. Por lo tanto, es importante conocer datos
relevantes sobre este país. Por eso, durante la tercera semana de la fase 2, debes responder las
siguientes preguntas:

1- ¿Qué has investigado sobre Inglaterra y sus hechos más relevantes?

2- ¿Cuáles son los “pasos en falso” (reglas y tradiciones culturales) más importantes en
Inglaterra?

3- ¿Qué debes saber antes de viajar a Inglaterra?

4- ¿Qué lugares visitarás en Inglaterra si ganas el desafío?
