Junior worlds
My Senior Project
For my Senior Project I am creating a documentary on my
Vaulting team trying out for Junior Worlds, in Amsterdam.
What is Equestrian Vaulting?
Equestrian Vaulting is best described as dance and gymnastics on
horseback. It can be done individually, in pairs (Pas de Deux), or
on team.
What is Team Vaulting?
Team vaulting is a group of 6 athletes of any age and gender.
They vault together with 1 to 3
athletes on the horse at all times.
What is Junior Worlds?
This is the first year Junior Worlds has ever been held. Just like
any international competition, each nation selects their best
athletes to compete. A junior athlete is anyone under 18 on
January first of that year.
How do we qualify?
To qualify for Junior Worlds, each of our 6 team members must
pass a 2* test, and after 3 qualifying competitions we must be in
the lead.
