Muscular endurance is the ability of a muscle

or group of muscles to sustain repeated


contractions against a resistance for an
extended period of time.
Muscular strength is the ability of a muscle
to exert a maximal or near maximal force
against an object. In the military, muscular
strength is an important component of
optimal performance.
Flexibility is the range of motion in a joint or
group of joints, or, the ability to move joints
effectively. Flexibility is related to muscle
strength. Flexibility can be improved with
stretching exercises.
