Ultrasonic cleaning

1.1 Function

An ultrasonic cleaner is a cleaning device that uses ultrasound (usually from 20

400 kHz) and an appropriate cleaning solvent (sometimes ordinary tap water) to
clean delicate items.

The ultrasound can be used with just water, but use of a solvent appropriate for
the item to be cleaned along with the soiling enhances the effect.

Cleaning normally lasts between three and six minutes, but can also exceed 20
minutes, depending on the object to be cleaned.

1.2 Standard operation procedure

1. Before connecting power, put the unit on a stable and flat working surface.
2. Before connecting the power lead. Pour water into the tank , suitable to completely immerse
the items to be cleaned. Always fill the unit above the MIN marker line indicated on the inside
of the tank.Place the items to be cleaned in the stainless steel basket, and place it to the tank.
3. Close and connect the power cable and turn on the power switch on the rear of the unit.Turn on
button to turn cleaner on and now you are ready to set the timer and temperature.
4. Setting the temperature
- When power is connected, The actual temperature of the water in the tank is displayed in
the actual temperature window. The cleaner can heat the water in to desire temperature by
adjusting the HEATER TEMPERATURE .
- When heating is occurring the red heating led will illuminate.
- Live Temperature display shows the actual water temperature in working condition.
- For the best result the temperature should be 45 to 50 degrees centigrade.
5. Setting the timer
When power is connected the timer displays 00, the cleaner is standby ,Pressing the button to
increase or decrease cleaning time. The timer displays display will count down the remaining
time in minutes and seconds. Once the timer reaches 00 ,the ultrasonic process will stop. Timer
adjustment can be made while the unit is in operation.

6. The unit will enter standby mode 60 seconds after the cleaning cycle has finished. To re-start the
unit press ON /OFF button.
7. When finished using ultrasonic cleaner, ensure unit is in standby mode by pressing the ON/OFF
button and checking the displays turn off. Turn off the switch power on the rear of unit and
disconnect the unit from the main supply and remove the power cable.
