Ecosystem,biome and biosphere

An ecosystem is a community of organisms having similar


habitats, plus the non-living components of the
environment(e.g. air,water,soil and light)
Small ecosystem e.g. a pond
Big ecosystem e.g. a forest or an ocean

A biome has many types of ecosystems that


share similar climates and usually have similar
types of communities.
Example : tropical rain forests, deserts and
tundra
All biomes together form highest level of
organisation -the biosphere

Environment of an organism
Environment includes both living and non-living
components
And also influences the lives of all individuals
