I would like to get everyone to have the throwing motion down and then also the catching form down. Or at least have them
understand and work on those actions.

Procedures
Intro-Activity: Talk about what we are going to do in
the class which is throwing the football and catching
the football.

Diverse Needs

Warm-up: line up on the sideline and do some


stretches where we are moving. Lunges, walking knee
hugs, butt kickers, high knees.

10 min

Rules: I will talk about what the proper way to throw


the football and what the proper way to catch the
football.

5 min

Activity: have them get a partner and start out about


10 yards apart from each other and just throw the
football back and fourth so that they get the throwing
motion and getting used to catching. Then when they
are getting used to it have them take a three step drop.
Then split up into two groups and have them run
routes.

20 min

Ending Activity/Cool-down: stretch out our legs


because of all the running that was done with the
routes.

5 min

Closure: talk about what they learned and how they


improved from the begging of class.
