HEAVENLY HATS FALL PARADE

Friday, November 14
Franklin County School PreK-12 will join other schools across the nation on Fri, Nov. 14, in the Heavenly Hats
Fall Hat Parade. Students wishing to participate may donate $1.00 & will be allowed to wear a hat all day, even in the
classrooms. The money collected will be donated to the Heavenly Hats Foundation which distributes brand new hats
to those of all ages who lose their hair due to the treatment of cancer or the many other medical conditions.
The Hat Parade will begin at 1:40pm. Students will march out of their building in parade style, led by the FCS
Band & the Grand Marshalls. Students will follow their parade route around the campus, ending at the bus loading
area. The school entrance will be blocked off during this time for safety purposes.

AWESOME VETRANS DAY PROGRAM!

If you were unable to attend the Veterans Day Program yesterday at FCS, be sure to mark your calendars to attend next year!
With Patty Creamers impeccable organizational skills, the program was so moving, there were many an eye filled with tears.
The FCS Band, under the direction of Karl Lester, was amazing. Though not many in number, the talented band members
sounded like a much larger band as they performed the numerous military and patriotic tunes.
Oh my, the many talented students we have at FCS and the ABC School. The contributions of their various
talents (singing, dancing, recitations) delighted our Veterans, visitors, fellow students, school staff, and district staff.
To all who contributed, both in front of and behind the curtains, THANK YOU for your involvement in this
annual tribute. I know the Veterans who attended felt the love, gratitude, and honor bestowed upon them during this
fabulous Veterans Day Program.
