Career Services hosts Nontraditional Student Event
NSUs Career Services is hosting an event for nontraditional students. This is the first year Career
Services is hosting this event. The event could be beneficial for future nontraditional students.
The goal is to help students coming back to school after already being in the work world, said Autumn
Stafford, career events specialist. We will help them discover how to pair their past experiences with a
major as well as cover other topics that are relevant to our nontraditional students.
The event will begin with a pizza party for the students and their children ages kindergarten through
sixth grade.
There will be a workshop for the adults and a separate activity for the children, said Stafford.
The event will be in the Ballroom Lounge on the second floor of the UC on Sept. 30 at 5:30 p.m.
