IV. DEMAND ANALYSIS

The Japanese Cultural Festival are going to be the first time will be happen in the
institution, so that the organizers are very eager to make it memorable and fun for the student.
The Japanese Cultural Festival are offering a lot of foods, but Filipinos are very familiar of the
foods that Japan can offer. Since Filipinos are very aware of the food that the event is going to
serve, they chose the very traditional food and making it very authentic. The event is making
sure that the students will taste also the culture of Japan. The students are not going to pay for
the food they will be tasting at the event. Bite sizes are going to serve to each student. Even
though the raw ingredients are expensive for the organizers to buy and can accommodate all
the students that are going to visit, the organizers choose the food that is budget friendly and
can make a lot of bite size foods. The food is also an attraction to the students when they come
to the event, because an event is very attractive when it comes with food. The food that are
going to serve in the event is perfect for the students who love to watch anime, they can relate
to it. The demand of food in this event is very high because students are always looking for food
especially when it’s free.

V. COMPETITION ANALYSIS

The institution is also known for its great events and activities, which is students can do
their talents, skills and creativity. The institution has a lot of events and activities can offer throughout
the year, so that the students can have a chance to show their best out of it. The competition in the
institution has a diversity for the students, because students have a different talents and skills, they will
attract other audience and guests by doing their bests and making their events pleasing in the eyes. The
other strands will hold an E-games tournament such as Valorant and Mobile Legends. This is very
popular this generation. They will generate lots of audience and participant for sure. There will be fun
and excitement. This is a tool on a successful event following the trend and what the generation is into.
But there are also risk in holding an event like this. They need to secure and organize the event so well
so that there will be no trouble. And they need to make sure all their internet connections are good and
well. In the other side some alternatives for our event to generate more attendance or profit is to do
some activities like cosplaying, photo booth, Japanese singing, j-dance, voice acting, etc., This will make
people interested in our event and may produce more attendee. And we can hold a Japanese food
booth so they can try foods from Japan and experience it.

But, having a healthy competition will be resulting it in a good and healthy environment for the
students and for the professors. In this kind of event having a competition has a lot of advantages also,
this is also a way for the students to make their best out of it by not having a dirty moves. We will also
see this kind of event on who are the competitive students. But most of the students are very attractive
to the free tastes, students are always tired and does not have enough sleep, so they always target free
foods. They are also attractive to the trends like online games, and fashion shows. They also tend to like
colorful events and gram (for Instagram pictures) events.
VI. IMPLEMENTATION

The activities and foods that the event offers are not unusual for the Filipinos and especially
among the students. It is very easy for the event to implement because Filipinos are very active
in this kind of events. The event is friendly, attractive to everyone and very informational. Even
families can relate to this kind of event because it is one of their childhood memories.
Organizers can do prepare this for a month, the decorations will take a lot of time because of
enormous standees, like the Sakura blossoms it also requires a lot of time and materials, but it
can implement by giving and allocating a lot of time and money. The event also need a lot of
personnel that can watch and monitor the event wile on its process, to make sure that the event
has started and has timeline of progress. Philippines has the materials needed. The event is not
that so big, it does not require a lot of supplies. The materials needed for the activities are
always available in many national bookstore and school zones.

For future event management and organizers

1. Schedule delays - Evaluate the duration of time between each element of your event and
keep it moving. Speeches & presentations are enjoyable if they don't go on too, too long. If
there will be extended durations, try opening the event early.
2. Mobilize your network - The key to event management is networking. Get in touch with the
locations and suppliers you enjoy working with. They will be there for you when you need them.
Keep volunteers and coworkers close by as well.
3. Open to feedback - Open to suggestions: The main objective of any event is to make it
enjoyable for the participants and everyone else involved. This requires paying attention to
feedback from everyone regarding your event, from the planning stages to the event itself and
even the post-event meeting with your team to discuss what worked well and what needs to be
improved.
