CSU MISSION AND VISION

Why is it important to set goals and objectives for learners?


 It is important to the learners to set goals and objectives for them to have guide and to be
inspired to keep going to achieve their dreams
Are the mission and vision statements realistic and achievable?
 Yes, the CSU vision and mission statements are realistic and achievable with in fact CSUans excel
in their respective fields. They is always top the professional examinations that bring honor to
them, to their co-CSUans and of course to the Caraga State University.
In what way can CSUans be globally competitive?
 We can say that CSUans are globally competitive if they can be productive member and equip
with hard skills to not feat and readily compete globally.
As a student in CSU, how will you help in achieving their mission?
 As a CSUan, we should do your best, be confident to show your skills and make interactive
because it doesn’t matter how small it is it can bring achievement to the university.
What value can be embedded in the hearts and minds of every student?
 Value that can be embedded in the hearts and minds of student would be socially responsible as
stated in the university mission.
FESTIVAL DANCES
How important are festival to the lives of every Filipino?
 It is important as this reflects their way of living, from their respective ancestors up to the
current generation.
What is the purpose of doing festival dances?
 For me is to show the way of living of a certain place. And to be reminded and to keep the
traditions be known to the present generation.
In your own locality, what festival dance could you offer and how do you feel about it?
 Angot festival dances, I am amaze of how every barangay of the municipality show their dance
skills portraying the way of living of Properidanons.
How does modernization affect the essence of preserving festival dances?
 I think modernization affect somehow the essence of preserving festival dances in a way they
use trend music nowadays but still through traditional drums. That instead of using local music
or traditional music they use the modern music.
What is the purpose of dance festivals and how is it significant to every culture?
 The purpose of dance festivals for me is to show the way of living of a certain place. It is
significant to every community and culture because in that way we reminded and to keep the
traditions be known to the present generation.

What are the assets of your community?
 The best asset of our community is “Gibong River” because it’s where the farmer get their
water irrigations for their farms.
How do cultural and social factors affect our way of living?
