I. RATIONALE

In this month of March, the Faculty of the College of Education will be having its
annual celebration of Filipino month with its theme, " Tatlong Pulong Pinagpala
sa Wika at Kultura tayo’y Pinag-iisa " The event significantly contributes to the
Filipino month mission of promoting various pop culture from the three (3) Island
showcasing the pride and identity of the Filipinos. These activities encompass
various aspects, including education, cooperation and unity. We believe that these
proposed activities are consistent with the organization's core values and
objectives, and that they have the potential to have a significant positive impact
on the world by fostering connections across differences, celebrating diversity, and
encouraging students to participate in various academic opportunities that allow
them to demonstrate their prowess and skills.
During the regular celebration, many educational opportunities will be conducted
to gain knowledge, shape skills, and implement unity by actively engaging in
various activities related to the cognitive, emotive, and psychomotor domains.
This provides a solid foundation and momentum for young people to demonstrate
their ability and flexibility in a variety of matches that will undoubtedly test their
well-being.
In this week celebration, students' involvement and participation will leverage
their amplitude and capacities in executing various literary activities. The series of
activities proposed are: Larawang Walang Kupas and Sayawan sa Nayon. All of
these will be held on Friday since it is an asynchronous day, also following the
school’s rules and guidelines. The Filipino month culminating day will be on
March 15-16 (Friday and Saturday).

II. OBJECTIVES:

These series of activities will enable them to:

1. Inspire them to become active compassionate Filipino citizens who are committed to
promoting unity, diversity, sustainability, and the values of the Philippine culture.

2. Value cultural tradition and patriotism

3. Infuse oneself with the values inscribed in this year’s theme.

III. DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY


1. The aforementioned activities will be participated by the College of Teacher

Education students. Simply, every year level should have at least a representative in

parallel to the activities mentioned excluding 4th years.

2. The Filipino week will be regulated as one of the permitted celebrations found in the

CTE School Calendar of activities.

3. The College of Teacher Education is expected to show their support and cooperation

by joining into different academic matches showcasing their skills and proficiency

using Filipino language.

4. The output and performances must be a personal creation of the student/participant.

Their works will be posted during culminating activity and thru online for

documentation purposes. Please be advised that, all of the entries are judge by the

panel during the day of execution to prevent intentional sabotage of judgment and

scoring.
5. The committee of this event must be present during the conduct of the activities,

especially during the opening and culminating Activity.

6. The program will reward the students with a Certificate of Participation, Certificate of

Recognition plus exciting prize to enforce students’ behavior to join.

7. Every activity is headed by a teacher and the assigned committees to ensure smooth-

sailing production. The scoring system is determined through criterion-based since

there is a rubric and criteria to follow.

8. In terms of the prizes, the winners will be receiving points and certification.

9. The facilitators will be reserving projector and screen weeks or days before the event.

10. In one (1) section, students are divided into half

V. EXPECTED OUTPUT

The CTE students will be able to successfully perform all of the activities. They will be

capable of representing the College Department in any future various campus’ activities

equipping them with necessary skills cultivated from this event. Moreover, in keeping with

this month’s theme, the students are expected to show their awareness and put value on the
importance of pop culture in daily life activities. This celebration exhibits the potential and

develops the multicultural skills of CTE students.
