ACTION PLAN OF THE HORTENCIAN SUPREME STUDENT GOVERNMENT FOR
STUDENTS’ WEEK CELEBRATION
“Ikaw, Ako. Tayo: Bahagi ng Progreso at Boses ng Pagbabago”

 AREAS OF CONCERN

1. STUDENTS’ WEEK CELEBATION

 OBJECTIVES

1. To amplify the valuable contribution and collective manifestation of learners around the
country and across all disciplines of education to achieve positive change;
2. To provide a learner-centered platform to engage and mobilize learners with various
backgrounds in participating in the different carefully designed interactive and participatory
activities that promote upskilling, high sense of social responsibility, acceptance, and respect of
differences;
3. To serve as an opportunity for Filipino learners to connect with others, share their common
goals and sentiments, take part in engagements that showcase their causes for volunteerism and
capabilities on varied fields of expertise;
4. To celebrate the role of young people in the thrust for nation-building; and
5. To appreciate young people’s “puso, galing, at talino” in building the gaps and creating
opportunities for lifelong and holistic learning and development.

 STRATEGY/ACTIVITY

1.The SSG shall conduct a multiple activity such as;


a) Booth Competition (Per Strand and Grade Level)
b) “Wear You Future Competition (Open for All)
c) Essay Competition (Open for All)
d) Poster-Making Competition (Open for All)
e) Drag Race Competition (Open for All)
1.The goals of the activities are as follows;

a) Increase motivation in students by making fun and engaging school activities after
the no in-person classes for two consecutive years due to pandemic restrictions.
b) To showcase the skills and talents of Hortencians in literary arts.
c) To promote inclusivity and social equality within the school campus by
recognizing the well-loved students under LGBTQIA+ community.
d) In "Wear Our Future" activity, students are given the time to flaunt their desired
career in the future to motivate them to achieve it.
e) The booths aim to develop students’ engagement regardless of their strands to
cultivate cooperation and camaraderie within them.
