business, leisure, communication, trade…

Singapore is a cosmopolitan city and uses English for communication. Its people are known to be
bilingual (even trilingual) and can speak fluently in the most widely used languages of the world. This
is due to the bilingual education policy and its multicultural society which allows the population to
switch between languages with ease.

The cost of studying in Singapore is lower than Europe and United States. Singapore has strict laws, a
stable society and is a world-famous garden city.

city with many public parks and greenery within the city.

get to cook their own South East Asian food, to bring home an invaluable experience that they will
not forget.

This program is suitable for the students aged 8 to 15 years old to attend for all year round.

Schedule

Day 1

Flight to Singapore, arrival at hotel.

Day 2

Morning:

English class topic: Exchanging money at the bank, Role playing.

The Singapore English teacher leads students to visit a bank and practice changing the currency to
learn the denomination of the Singapore dollar and the story behind it.

Afternoon:

Experience Singapore's different ethnic cultural traditions. Visit the Tangcheng cultural center to
learn about the history of Chinese ancestors struggling to survive in the southern seas. Visit little
India and you will be impressed by the Indian way of life as well as the unique spices and colorful
fabrics. Visit Malay village, which features unique Malay tribal houses and shows the life of the
Malay nation in the past.

Night:

Singapore English teacher instructs students to make a supermarket shopping list to learn new
English vocabulary.

Day 3

Morning:

English class topic: In the Supermarket. The Singapore English teacher leads the students to a
supermarket where a treasure hunt is under way according to shopping list to prepare ingredients
for an evening barbecue.

Afternoon:

Visit the World War II memorial in Singapore, the Lim Seng Heng memorial, the Fullerton hotel, the
Esplanade Arts Centre, Merlion park, learn about Singapore's history and present, and explore the
lion city's legends and secrets.

Night:

Barbecue.

Day 4

Morning:
English class topic: Write a letter or a postcard. The Singapore English teacher instructs the students
to write a letter or postcard, takes the students to the Singapore post office, and sends the letter to
parents and friends.

Afternoon:

Visit the national university of Singapore to see Asia's top universities.

Night:

Visit Singapore at night

Day 5

All day:

Visit Universal Studios

Day 6

Morning:

English class topic: graduation ceremony. The end of the Singapore English study tour and a word of
thanks to all participating students and teachers, as well as a graduation ceremony that will be hard
to forget.

Afternoon:

Flight home.
