17 November 2014 cAMP (Our Year 6 and 7 students had a wonderful, action packed, fun-filled 4 days on camp. Monday ‘We buzzed up the road t0 Dunedin and thn had surfing lessons. Tet night PJs were on and then it was PY run up Baldwin Steet and off tothe lookout to see the city by night. Tuesday ‘Adventure Southland day ~abseiing, kayaking, shooting, archery, confidence course and horizontal bungee. Wednesday Ice skating, off othe aquarium at Portobello for Suckers and Tentacles programme including a squid disection, and then into the Art Gallery to look a what some of the art shows us about wartime and then did our own ANZAC at. The chefs were on strike so all ‘cooked their own tea on the bone. Bach curriculum ara is reviewed by the Board every two yeas. Inquiry achievement ‘overall is good withthe majority of stents achieving the understandings and mos achieving or pally schioving all 4 understandings in the inguiy The NAGS (National Administration Guidelines) financial procedures ae also reviewed by the Board of Trustees every two years. Minimal changes to some ofthe wording inthe Policies & Procedures were made Upcoming Reunion With great anticipation for a truly wondefil Waitangi weekend in 2017 the Board of Trustess announces a Bluff Schools’ (Bluff & Konini) reunion. Bluff School wil be 150 years old and Konini School opened in 1959 and closed in 2004 making it a tha time 45 yeas old. The Ministry of Education merged these two schools in January 2005. What an amazing Bluf ‘do’ to look forward to, Put this date on your calendar and set the word out!
