Last Friday all classes went to visit the RSA. Thanks to Hamesh and James.
We talked about the difference between WW1 and WW2 weapons and how they evolved, and how soldiers
defended themselves during the war. Carrying a shovel is a must because they did a lot of digging! We found out
many people died druing the war and the RSA is a place they would come to forget about memories of the war.

School finishes for Term 1 on Thursday 2nd April at 3pm and restarts for Term 2
at 9.00am on Monday 20 April 2015. Please can you all encourage your children
to keep their reading mileage up over the holidays and to practise their maths
flashcards. Thanks.
Board of Trustees Whanau Consultation
The Board of Trustees are consulting families about the curriculum areas they will be reviewing during the
2015 school year. Getting all this done in one go means we wont have to annoy you throughout the
year. We would really appreciate all forms back at school by Thursday please. Just pop them in the box
in the office. Thanks!!
