I chose to write to Monica Wehby. I will write to her on her opinion about
her disagreement on the Paycheck Fairness Act and Affordable Care Act.

Dear Mrs. Wehby,

I have read through your website and read through your opinion on various
gender issues and topics. I noticed that you do not support the Affordable Care Act.
I think that Obamas ideas for health care and almost socializing it is a great idea.
This could help millions of people. If we look at other countries with social medicine
we can see that their counties are still striving economically. I always find it ironic
that doctors, whom take a vow to help people, chose to not help those that cannot
afford health care at all. Doctors should be willing to help others and especially
those who are in desperate medical need. It is obvious why some doctors do not
want this Act because it could mean they will be paid less. That it very selfish and
unjustified reasons to not agree with the Act.
I also do not agree with your statements about the Paycheck Fairness Act.
You state that when this act goes into effect that businesss will get more lawsuits
and thus this idea is not a good one. These statements are showing that one does
not equal another. If companies do get an increase in lawsuits due to their

negligence, than it was something they deserved. I do not see you mad about
officers and the judicial system enforcing the laws against murder. What if you
stated, With the passing of law against murder that would mean we would see an
increase in lawsuits and investigations and we do not need that. As you can see
from that statement laws need to be enforced and those who get the punishment
often deserve it. I do not think you have strong supporting arguments as to why this
is a bad idea. I do not think you have many logical or facts to prove why your
argument could be strong. You may need more than that so you can have a
stronger supporting argument as to why the Paycheck Fairness Act is not a good
idea in your opinion.
Sincerely, Amalia Caamano
