    Capacitor Upgrade in Control Box Kit Information

    To move and install motor capacitor from the inside of a Cooper Voltage Regulator to the control
    box the following three items are required: Capacitor Retro fit kit, capacitor, and control cable. All
    three items would be separate line item on a quotation or order.

    1. Capacitor Retrofit Kits


    There are two different Capacitor Retrofit kits available. Tap changer types use determines which
    kit is required.
    Capacitor Retrofit kit for Spring Drive and Direct Drive Tap Changers Voltage Regulators.

    2. Control Cable
    12-conductor control cable for external capacitors only.
    14-conductor control cable for external capacitor and fans.
    Part Number will depend on number of conductors and length.

    3. Motor Capacitors
    Capacitor sizes depend on tap changer type. Following are tap changer type and capacitor sizes:

    Spring Drive Tap Changer; capacitor size is 7.5uf 440 Vac 100C
