Robert Thompson

Who is he?
Robert Thompson was born in Northern Ireland, where
he lived for most of his early life. Robert is a
photographer who takes pictures close up. His interest
in natural history began during his childhood.

What does he do?

Robert takes pictures close up. He doesnt take the
pictures just for their aesthetic appeal. He has a
particular interest in dragonflies, butterflies and moths
although he realised there isnt much high quality
imagery in the pictures.

Why does he do it?

Robert Thompson is a photographer simply because he
enjoys taking different kinds of close up pictures. He
found out he enjoyed photography when he was
growing up in a large parkland estate
