Lahore school of economics

The Lahore School of Economics was established in 1993 and chartered by the
Government of Punjab in January 1997, through The Lahore School of Economics Act
1997 (Provincial Assembly of the Punjab - Act II of 1997). It is based in the city of
Lahore, Pakistan.

Campus
The Lahore School of Economics has two campuses: the Main campus and the City
campus.
The Main campus, spread over 35 acres, is located on the intersection of DHA Phase
VI, Main Boulevard and Burki Road. The City campus is located in Gulberg near the
central Liberty Market area.
The Lahore School is one of the most highly ranked Pakistani universities for a business
education, according to the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan

Faculties
The Lahore School has the following faculties/departments:
Faculty of Economics
Faculty of Finance
Faculty of Business Management
Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics
Faculty of Social Sciences and Politics
Faculty of Media

Research Wing
The Lahore School's Research Centre, known as CAREB, takes part in national
and international levels of research. CAREB is closely associated with various
governmental and non-governmental research wings and think tanks.
The university also conducts a student exchange program with Bahcesehir
University, Turkey for existing students, faculty and alumni

Campus Life
The Lahore School's Main campus hosts a variety of facilities to cater to the student
body. The campus is equipped with two libraries and five computer labs. The university
also houses a sporting complex along with two and volleyball court. The university's
media centre houses a small cinema and studio.

Survey:
We surveyed the students of LSE by taking sample of 50 students due to the current
scenario of the terrorism threats and attacks , LSE and other institutes have been
closed off and security has been tightened so it was not possible to enter the LSE
campus so we surveyed the students available outside the campus plus through friends
contacts we were able to get opinion students currently semester is off.
