Procedures (including student engagement techniques):

At the beginning of the period, students are to write on the ShowMe
application what different types of measurements they are aware of.
Based on their prior knowledge, the instructor will introduce the six
different types of measurements that they will be learning about in class.

After the students learn about the types of measurements and practice
with the different measuring materials, they will then play the education
application Splash Math- 3rd grade worksheets with a partner to get the
students engaged with one another.

During this time of partner work, the instructor will walk around the
classroom and make sure that the students are understanding what they have
learned about.
The instructor will give an overview of the lesson, answering any questions
that the students may have about the types of measurements.
After this, all students will complete the Educanon quiz given by the
instructor.

Assessment of Learning Objective:

Instructor will create an Educanon quiz about the types of measurements

that were learned in the class period.

Notes/Observations: (take notes while observing the students)

Observe the prior knowledge to be aware of the extent of how much the
students know about the different measurement types
Observe how well the students work with each other, and observe what they
know during the application time to see what else they need to go over
before they take their quiz
