To Whom It May Concern:
It is my pleasure to recommend Shannon Steinert for a job with your school
system. I have known Ms. Steinert for an academic year and have had the pleasure of
working with her as a cooperating teacher while she completed her student teaching at
Bob Jones High School. Throughout her student teaching experience, she continuously
impressed me with her desire to collaborate with and learn from her the teachers around
her.
Ms. Steinert is a hard worker and conscientious of her duties to the classroom. By
preparing for her classes the night before and using her planning time wisely, she is ready
to greet the students with a smile and thoughtful lessons. She is always willing to do
whatever is needed regardless of the hours required. She takes her responsibilities
seriously and works to continually improve teaching and learning.
To further her activities in the school, Ms. Steinert demonstrates her leadership
skills, creativity, and organizational skills with every activity presented in class and on
the basketball court. Not only did she create engaging lessons for the Pre-AP English 9
and Freshman Composition students in the classroom, but she managed her time
efficiently and shared her love of basketball as she co-coached the girls basketball teams
at Bob Jones High School. Watching Ms. Steinert prosper in the academic classroom and
emerge as a positive role model for the young girls at the middle and high school level
shows great merit and tenacity.
Ms. Steinerts willingness to help others and remain true to herself leads the
students to want to be around her. The positivity that she exudes radiates from her and is
quite infectious to those who know her. Without hesitation, I feel that Ms. Steinert will do
an amazing job for your school and be an excellent addition to your faculty. She has a
