Unit VI - Syllabus
Classification of lines based on length as short,
medium and long lines. Ferranti effect,
Representation of lines as Pi and Tee circuits
using R, L and C parameters, voltage and current
relations for short and medium lines only.
Representation of Tee and Pi models of lines as
two port networks, phasor diagrams, evaluation
and estimation of ABCD constants for both the
models, Estimation of Efficiency & regulation of
short & medium lines.
