Actress, Tech, Management, Costume, Makeup
I have participated in fifteen productions ranging from Hairspray,
The Crucible, A Piece of My Heart, West Side Story, etc. I have
done various tasks from onstage to back stage duties.

Singer
I have performed solo as well as with other students at various
locations like singing with the choir at Graduations, performances
at the House of Blues, performances for school functions and so
on.

I have spent four years being involved with the video/technology
department being a video recorder, editor, etc. while working with
others

Treasurer
I am an officer for our theatre departments troupe. I handle all
financial needs and funding for any fundraising event, donations,
and all money related duties. I, when needed, search and compare
prices and funds dealing with events and inventory.

Editor-In-Chief, News Editor, Entertainment Editor
Along with my colleague, I am co-Editor-In-Chief. I manage the
editors and supervise them to make sure they turn in their stories. I
help editors, throughout their writing process, write/edit their
articles.

L4TV (School Newscast): Grades 10-11


Cameraman, Reporter, Editor
Until this course was discontinued, I was Assistant Feature
Director and my job was to work with the director and to make
sure the department was working thoroughly and promptly. My
department and I would report on school news updates and events
and general events in the Houston area.

Dance Department: Grades 10-12


Dancer, Videographer
I am a dancer and perform for the annual fall and spring dance
shows. When not performing, I would stay after school to record
the dance shows for their Dance Show DVD.

Cadet
I have participated in multiple JROTC events and was one of a few
students to be chosen to represent Chavez at Camp JCLC in the
summer of 2012.

I was voted most talented/artistic in the entire Chavez Prep
Academy against two other students.

UIL Competition
I won 1st place for Editorial Writing in Journalism at a UIL
competition at Lee High School against other high school students.

VOLUNTEERING
Present

Caterer
I make decorative cakes, assorted baked goods, and other festive
foods for events and social gatherings dealing with school and/or
other committed duties. I volunteered to help at a BBQ benefit by
preparing meat and rubs and clean up.

Carwash
I volunteered to be part of a fundraising carwash for the Theatre
Department to raise money for the department by washing cars,
cleaning up after, and counting funds.

Cesar E. Chavez Parade


With the L4TV crew, I recorded the event and interviewed some
big positions like the State Senator Sylvia Garcia, Congressman
Gene Green and the personal body guard of Cesar Chavez himself.

Theatre Department
I volunteer to help in general or during a production by building
sets, publicity for shows, cleaning up or setting up classroom,
being stage crew, etc. I came to school and spent all of August
during the summer cleaning up the costume room and prop room.
