In my opinion, an English writing class would be very diverse. On some days, we will hold
discussions about important or current topics and on others, we would learn and write based off
of the texts in our books required for class. When it comes to writing, it should be able to be read
easily and discussed orally easily with minimal confusion. In order to become a great writer from
an English writing class, it takes knowledge from inside and out of the textbook.

Reflection
This was my first ever daybook entry in the UWRT 1101 class. I chose to put this one in my EPortfolio because I want to show the simplicity of it. As you see, it is very short and simple but I
made sure it was detailed. Thats the type of writer I started out as so I want you to see the
progression of the writing skills and knowledge from beginning to end. I also chose this on
because it was my perception of what I believe a college writing class would/should be. You can
see that I was correct to an extent but still well off. It is so much more complex and in depth and
its more than just a class: its an experience.
