Tuvalu is a small

ocean. It is home to over
10,000 people. It consists
of 6 island reefs and 3
atolls. The highest point is
only 15 feet above sea
level.
Due to it being a low
lying area, it is threatened
by global warming. In less
than a century the entire
country could be
underwater.

The cost of this project

Proposed Plan
My proposal is to build a large
Seawall to prevent the nation
from flooding. These walls would
Be built on all of the islands.

The average sea wall costs

around 3,226,482.97 Per
Kilometer. Tuvalu has 26
kilometers of coastline, it
would cost
83,888,557.22$ to build a
sea wall. In comparison,
the Galveston, Texas Sea
wall which spanned 10
miles and cost over 16
million dollars.
