What is Your Favourite Sport?

Methodology

Data regarding an individual's preference for a particular sport will be used for this WTE. Data will be
collected by prompting each student in the ENGL-2116-001 class for his/her favourite sport. With
this data, graphs will be generated to display the count of each sport chosen as well as the
percentage that it was chosen.

In order to collect the data for this assignment, I went around class and prompted each student with
the question, "What is your favourite sport?". For some students, they asked if it was in regards to
watching or playing- I told them that it was up to them. Some of the answers were relatively obscure
(ex. Quidditch, paintball, none, etc), however the data was still included. The reason why is because
the goal was to find what sports people enjoyed (and the popularity) in general.

The results were interesting; out of the 23 people prompted, the top choice was actually a lack of
preference for sports (22%, 5 people). Basketball followed for second most chosen (18%, 4 people).
Football and Soccer tied for third most picked with 13% pickrate each (3 people).
