Students were able to meet objectives by participating in the Dancing Simon Says game that required them to be able to execute whatever direction or pathway called out by the instructor. Students also met objectives by reviewing the different shapes made in lesson four and moving them on different pathways. 2. Was the material too difficult? Simple? Uninteresting? Directions not clear? Explain The students stayed interested through out the activity because the got to constantly change their focus. As far as difficulty some students were able execute more complicated commands where other students needed assistance with carrying out instructions. 3. How was the Lesson challenging to the students? The students were challenged with the task of holding a shape and moving it in different directions. They had challenges in the Dancing Simon Says game because the commands got more intricate in that the students had to follow a chain of commands dealing with locomotor movements, direction, and pathway. 4. What skills need additional practice? The students are getting better, but they still need practice in articulating clear differences in the difference between footwork of locomotor movements and moving sideways.
5. What students need particular attentionskill, social, emotion, etc.?
Most of my boys need more attention to keep them focused throughout the activity.
