DMILNVNEwW Ei LING 320 TESOL Practicum II Lesson Reflection Looking Back (What went well/not so well and why? What went differently than expected? What were the challenges you faced and how did you respond? Etc.) think tis lesson went very well, the students liked glving advice and helping Mohammed create a better budget. The students that, usually don’t talk as much were eager to give answers and tell us how to fix a budgeting problem. Some of the instructions may have been a litle bit dificult for the students because they didn't know how to do the most simple task of subtracting numbers. However, once | showed them an example on the board they understood what to do. Looking Ahead (What are the key learning points and how will you apply them? How might you do it differently next time? What skills would you like to develop to teach this sort of class better? Etc.) ‘ne thing | would change iF did this lesson again is would make a new problem for each group. For the “GWing Advice” activity there were two groups that had the same situation as another group. So when I asked each group what their advice would be for somebody in that situation there were two groups that had the same answer as another group. it would have been better for each group to have a different situation.
