information system application. I have tried heart and soul to adorn the report with data,

Accounting Information System (AIS) is the whole of the related components that are put
together to collect information, raw data and transform them into financial data for the purpose
of reporting them to decision makers. Accounting Information System (AIS) is vital to all
organizations and perhaps, every organizations either profit or non profit-oriented need to
maintain the AIS. To better understand the term Accounting Information System, the three
words constitute AIS would be elaborated separately. Firstly, literature documented that
accounting could be identified into three components, namely information system, language of
business and source of financial information. Secondly, information is a valuable data
processing that provides a basis for making decisions, taking action and fulfilling legal
obligation. Finally, system is an integrated entity, where the framework is focused on a set of
objectives.
This report is divided into 5 chapters. Chapter 1 includes objectives of the report, Methodology
of the study, Data collection method, Data processing, Scope of the study, Limitation of the
report. Chapter 2 provides the details information about Accounting Information system (AIS),
Literature review, Function of AIS, Effectiveness of AIS SYSTEM. In Chapter 3 I give the
description about AIS of Leading University. Chapter 4 is Finding & Analysis of the report.

In

chapter 5 I give the Conclusion & Recommendation of the report.

This study focuses on the applications of accounting information system in Leading University.
The basic business activities in the different subsystems are determined. The associated threats
and control procedures in every subsystems also be found out. The problems in different business
cycle are identified. Few recommendations are made to overcome those problems.
