A Microscopic Issue of Unknown Consequences

This article is stating that global warming is happening and its affect is greater than just
on the weather. As global warming occurs it is disrupting the microbes that live in the warmer
weather causing the microbes to move to cooler climates. The microbes are important to the
environmental balance. Not just the microbes are moving some species such as goldfinches,
brown argus butterflies, and red oaks. (Fountain, 2014)

This article was very straight forward and easy to follow. It kept my attention by giving
relevant information and examples. They stated the importance of microbes moving from
warmer to cooler climates. The long term effects are not completely certain. These could affect
the soil and food growth in the years to follow. This is very important in the field of micro
because it the microbes we need for soil maturation are no longer going to be there. I dont
believe this was a huge step in the field but it was to inform the public about the dangers for
later.
