Professional Profile
I have had many great teaching experiences. My first involved working with a sixteen year -old girl with Downs
Syndrome. I helped her develop math, reading, and writing skills, as well as provide respite services for her caretaker. I
also have experience working in a public school setting during my practicum experiences where I was able to work once a
week with students individually, in small groups, and as a whole class. From these experiences, I have learned that I want
to teach because I want to help students have better futures.
