Welcome Aaroun
Kia ora/Assalam alaikum Aaroun,
It is so exciting to see Aaroun come to our centre and we welcome him and his
whnau. I am glad that I started to work in under two room from this December and
have been also given privilege of writing your learning journey.
Aaroun, both of us are very new to under two room. I
have to not only learn about the routine of under two
room but also need to get to know you and your
whnau. I believed that it must be hard for you
transition yourself to our centre. Teacher in Annur
centre all here for you to help you settle in Annur. Your
Nana was a big supporter for you to help you settle in
here. You were so attached to your nana. You always wanted to more cuddles from
her. Nana also spent quiet long time with you first few weeks. She read books, sang
songs to you and your new friends. What a lovely Nana you have!
Aaroun, you have settled into our centre very quickly. You are also happy and confident
in the company of all the tamariki. You have adapted our centre routine and enjoy the

food from your lunch box. When it is rest and sleeping time, you quieten and enjoy
the afternoon sleep.
Aaroun a respectful, confident, independent boy with curiosity to find out all he can
about the world he lives in. I am looking forward to seeing where your learning
adventures will take you and being part of this journey.
