Final Project Options

1. Create the Soundtrack for The Outsiders: The Movie
Select five important scenes from the novel and choose a song (tell me
the era the song is from if possible) that you would include in the
movie version for each scene. For each, describe the scene, the
characters involved and why this song or artist is appropriate.
a. Create a Google Presentation with clips of the selected songs and
share it with me.
b. Final draft Describe (typed) each scene and why the song or artist
is appropriate. (minimum of 8 sentences per scene)
c. To go above and beyond (and maybe earn extra credit) design the cd
or album cover for the soundtrack.
2. Movie Poster and Casting Sheet:
Write a complete character description including all of the following:
physical traits, personality traits, likes and dislikes, important
relationships, and fears for each character listed below. After you have
finished writing the descriptions, choose an actor/actress to play the
following role. Write a two sentence summary justifying why you
chose the actor/actress you did for the role. You need to include a
picture of the actor/actress with each description. Then create a movie
poster for a new version of the movie. Remember to make your poster
look as realistic as possible. Your poster must include a significant
quote from the book..

illustrated and its importance to the novel. Your summary should also
