Dr. Ken Sasaki, a professor of archaeology at Meiji University, will give a talk on January 15th from 2-4pm in the East Asian Seminar Room in Doheny Library. The talk will discuss recent excavations at the Yukinoyama Keyhole-Tomb in Shiga prefecture, Japan from the 4th century and how it provides insights into the early formation of the Japanese state.
