Guidelines/Job description for Student Teaching Associates

Spring Term 2015

Guidelines/Descriptions of Student TAs duties are given as under:

Searching materials relevant to the topic.

Evaluate the quizzes/ assignments in time.
Evaluating the classroom participation.
Helping the Instructor in conducting activities in the second phase of the
Lectures.
Keeping a record of attendance.
Ensuring the availability of teaching aids e.g. multimedia provision etc. in
the classroom
Ensuring Photocopying etc. (except exam papers
) in time.
Availability for extra tutorials for students.

Students TAs are not supposed to check the Mid Term/ Final Exams scripts.
All exam papers (Mid Term & Final Term) to be photocopied only by the instructor.
