MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 064-2014

APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR ACCREDITATION OF SUSTAINABLE AGROFORESTRY FOR ECONOMY AND ECOLOGY (SAFEE), INC., AS AN NGO, IN THE LOCAL
GOVERNMENT UNIT THRU THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN OF GUINOBATAN, ALBAY.

WHEREAS,

the Non-Government Organization (NGO), Sustainable Agro-Forestry for Economy

and Ecology (SAFEE) with SEC Registration No. CN201333185, submitted to the
Sangguniang Bayan documents necessary and essential for accreditation for
membership in the local special bodies of the local government of Guinobatan,
Albay;

WHEREAS,

Article 64 of the Rules and Regulations Implementing Republic Act No. 7160
otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, sets the Procedures
and Guidelines for Accrediting NGOs and POs;

WHEREAS,

the above-mentioned NGO is now requesting that it be joined in the roster of

accredited NGOs in the Municipality of Guinobatan, Albay, which request is found
to be with merit;

WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises, be it now:

RESOLVED,

as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay in

session assembled, to approve as it hereby approves the application for
accreditation of Sustainable Agro-Forestry for Economy and Ecology (SAFEE),
Inc., as an NGO, in the Local Government Unit thru the Sangguniang Bayan of
Guinobatan, Albay.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this resolution be furnished the Office of the SAFEE through
its President, and such other concerned offices or agencies, for their information
and appropriate action.
APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY, on motion of Honorable Councilor FJ M. Oxales and duly seconded
by the members present this 12 th day of May, 2014 during their 16 th Regular
Session.
