MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 061-2014

CONCURRING MDC AND MDRRMC RESOLUTION NO. 03 SERIES OF 2014, APPROVING THE
REPROGRAMMING OF THE MUNICIPAL DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT
FUND (MDRRMF) AMOUNTING TO ONE MILLION, THREE HUNDRED TWENTY-ONE
THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED TEN PESOS & FORTY-FIVE CENTAVOS (Php1,321,510.45)
UNDER THE 5% CALAMITY FUND.

WHEREAS, the Municipal Development Council (MDC) and the Municipal Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) of Guinobatan, Albay, jointly submitted to the
Sangguniang Bayan, through the Committee on Finance, Budget & Appropriations, for its
consideration and concurrence, the above-captioned resolution;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan, through the said Committee, finds that the MDC and
the MDRRMC have sufficiently complied with the provisions of RA 10121, when it reprogrammed
its 5% calamity fund for 2014, as the same focused on disaster mitigation, risk reduction, relief,
recovery and other works and services in connection with the occurrence of calamities;
WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises, be it now:
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay in
session assembled, to concur as it hereby concurs MDC and MDRRMC Resolution No. 03, Series
of 2014, Approving the Reprogramming of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
Fund (MDRRMF) amounting to One Million, Three Hundred Twenty-One Thousand, Five Hundred
Ten Pesos and Forty-Five Centavos (Php1,321,510.45) under the 5% Calamity Fund.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this resolution be furnished such concerned
offices/agencies, for their information and appropriate action.

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that the above-mentioned MDC and MDRRMC Resolution

No. 03, Series of 2014, is hereto attached and marked as Annex A.
APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY on motion of the Sponsoring Committee Chairman,
Honorable Councilor Ricky S. Matza, and duly seconded by the members present this 5 th day of
May, 2014 during their 15th Regular Session.
