BRINGING LAURELS TO DPSG

Kush Mishra and Pradyumna Bhardwaj of class XI A1 bagged the Second Position in
Sing A Song Competition in LITERATI-2014 a series of events organized by K R
Mangalam World School, Vaishali.

Aakash Gupta, Aniket Kamboj, Ashita Agarwal, Pranjay Dhamija, Raghav Garg,
Saurabh Chauhan,Shashank Goel, Yash Kumar Singhal, Yash Tomar and Yojit Srivastava
of class XI qualified the national and final round of the prestigious NTSE
Examination.
Eight students namely Yashvardhan Singh , Vikhyat Mahaur, Shivang, Samarth
Agarwal, Shashwat Goel, Shashank Goel, Arushi Agrawal and Saurabh Chauhan of
senior wing cleared the first round of KVPY( Kishore Vigyan Prothsahan Yojna).
In the National Financial Literacy Competition organized by NISM Mumbai and
CBSE, Anubhav Agrawal bagged second position at the National level; Manan Gupta
secured first position in the Central Regional Level and Utkarsh Singhal got a special
recognition for securing 92nd rank.

KATHA- International Writers Workshop

After the two regional Writing Workshops, KATHA and CBSE selected the best young writers
from across the country. More than 600 CBSE schools had participated in it.
Ishita Blest, Trishala Mohan of class XII H and Sarthak Pathak of class XI A3 had been selected
for the three-day workshop from 26th to 28th December 2014, held at Sanskriti School, New Delhi
where they got an opportunity to interact and work with national as well as international writers,
illustrators and poets from India and abroad. Illustrators from Iran and Costa Rica further honed
students' artistic skills in the CHITRAKATHA MASTERCLASSES. The students brought
laurels to the school by bagging appreciation, laureate and grandmaster awards respectively.
Trishala Mohan of XII won the laureate Award, Sarthak Pathak of XI bagged the Grand Award
and Ishita Blest of XII won the Apreciation Award. Her poem has been selected for illustrations.
