    Sector-1 concludes Two days talent hunt of fresh faces

    Panchkula, September 11, 2019:

    Govt PG College, Sector-1 concluded Two Days Talent Hunt Show today.
    To facilitate the students with platform to showcase their talent, college had organised a two
    days talent hunt show. Senior Journalist SD Sharma graced the event as the chief guest of the
    program. Old aluminus Jassi was the guest of the honor.

    Principal of the college, Dr. Archana Mishra presided over the show. Emphasizing on the
    refining the creativity of the students, Principal of the College Dr. Archana Mishra said that
    the college is always committed for reinforcing and carving out the hidden talents of the
    students. While telling about the Importance of Art and Music she said Vedas have a deep
    concern about music and Arts. Music and other art forms are the keys to effective
    communication, making friends, reducing depression and even making money.
    Chief Guest of the event SD Sharma appreciated the efforts of participants and encouraged all
    the students to participate in each activity of college as well as society.

    Nandini, Suraj Bhan and Akshit Kumar stood first, second and third respectively in spot
    painting.Prabhat and Anuj stood first, Hitesh and Khushwant bagged second position whereas
    Neha and Shweta got third prize in dance. Mrityunjay stood first,Manoj and Akshay got
    second position and Preeti stood third in mono acting.Suraj bagged first Riya and Amit
    second and Gurmukh and Dhaman third prize in singing.Team of Sachin and Pardeep stoof
    first in Quiz.

    Dr. Jitender Arya was the convenor of the event. Students of the college,
    Mohini,Pooja,Preeti,Ghanshyam and Gursimran anchored the stage whereas Prof. Harpreet
    Kaur coordinated them. Prof. Anjali Siwach, Alka Sharma, Davender Kaur, Inderjot Kaur,
    Kusum Rani, Meenakshi, Srishti Ranga,Angela,Tarana were the jury members for various
    competitions.

    Students of various streams including Arts, Journalism and Mass Communication, Science,
    Commerce, Computer Applications, Physical Education etc. participated in the talent hunt.
