Annual Report-Literary Club

Group Extempore
The first event hosted officially under the banner of the literary club was group extempore. The
students participated in groups of three. The topics for the same were given on the spot. With 30
seconds of preparation time, this competition was essentially a test of how fast the students respond
to a given situation and how well they were able to collaborate with their team.

Topics were simple and non-technical and based on social issues. An impromptu speech mostly
reflects a person’s genuine opinion on the given situation.

It was an engaging event and was an overall success.

POETRY COMPETITION:
They say every person has a hidden poet inside him. This competition aimed to bring out that very
talent in the students. Students had to recite self-composed poetry, there was no bound on time or
length. It turned out to be a beautiful evening with some colourful and engaging poems on the dais.
