Sub: complaint regarding inappropriate conduct during electoral debate held on 13/04/19

Respected sir,

This is to inform you about gross misconduct and inappropriate behaviour exhibited by the
supporters of a candidate, during electoral debate held on 13/04/19.

During the speech of Md Salman Raza, candidate for Academic Secretary, as I got up to ask my
question, Vedic Mishra, 2nd year Electrical Department, apart from hooting unnecessarily and
preventing me from asking my question, had used unparliamentary language and abusive words
against me. He also provoked the audience to do the same.

I was in doubt about the identity of the person hence I refrained from complaining earlier, but after
cross verifying from the students sitting in the front, I have come to know that Vedic Mishra was
responsible for the above-mentioned acts.

I request the Student Welfare office to look into the matter at its earliest and take strict action
against the offender and serve as a precedent to the upcoming batches that elections must be
conducted in a dignified manner and such threats and hooliganism must be avoided at any cost.
