Population Modelling Dymex
Population Modelling Dymex
DYMEX
Introduction
Dymex is a population modelling program providing
researchers with a means of building complex population
models for any species.
The DYMEX packages designed to overcome the bottleneck
caused by inadequate computer programming resources and
modelling expertise. DYMEX enables the user to build a class
of ecological models referred to as mechanistic or processbased models, without the need to know a computer
programming language. It is a modular modelling software
package that consists of two parts: a Builder and a
Simulator. The Builder is used to create and modify the
model, while theSimulator is used to run a completed
model, and display the results of simulations.
