Priority: Medium Date: November 16, 2005 Affected Products: MACH1, MACH2 Affected Versions: 6.30 through 6.38 Problem Description: There is a 1 in 50 chance that if you MSet the controller using the EIA-232 port while it is connected to the network that the flash will be corrupted. If you MSet the controller using the XPort Converter the flash will always be corrupted. This corruption requires the unit to be returned to RCC for flash replacement. Recommendation for Dealer: Do not use the XPort to MSet MACH1s or MACH2s. Remove the controller from the network when using MSet through the EIA-232 port. Action by Reliable Controls: The next release of MACH1 and MACH2 will have this problem resolved. This version will be released before the end of the 2005.
