Being a hero doesnt have to be worth something
Heroes are not all rebels, doing what seems right to them like in the movies; some heroes
find out that they might not be cut out for the heroic, protecting the peace, thing. To most war
veterans, they believe they are announced heroes once they receive a medal honoring them for
the service they have given. Then as soon as they get those medals, they tend to, rate themselves
higher for qualities like leadership, adventurousness and adaptability (P4 What makes a
hero). Studies shows that people who eagerly register to fight in a war tend to get the least
amount of medals than people who were drafted. The ones that were drafted turned out to be
more charismatic about their line of duty and express high amounts of morale. This is what
Charles Murz had to say when he believed he shouldnt have shown any courage when he
parachuted into enemy territory, Brave? Well, I don't know about that. I did what I had to do at
the time that I did it (P9 What makes a hero).
